ঢাকার বুড়িগঙ্গায় নৌকাডুবির ঘটনায় শিশুসহ আরও চারজনের মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। এ নিয়ে এ ঘটনায় পাঁচজনের মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার করা হলো।
উদ্ধারকৃতরা হলেন- ছয়মাসের শিশু জুনায়েদ, মিম(৬), মাহি (০৮), জামশেদার স্বামী দেলোয়ার হোসেন (৩০)। এছাড়া এ ঘটনায় শুক্রবার জামসেদা নামক(২২) এক নারীর মরদেহ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ। শনিবার সকাল সাড়ে ৭টা থেকে দুপুর পৌনে ১টা পর্যন্ত অভিযান চালিয়ে রাজধানীর আহসান মঞ্জিল জাদুঘর বরাবর বুড়িগঙ্গা নদী থেকে থেকে তাদের মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার করা হয়। এ নিয়ে গত দুইদিনে ৫জনের মৃত্যুদেহ উদ্ধার করা হলেও এখ নপর্যন্ত নিখোজ রয়েছে শাহিদা নামের এক নারী। তার সন্ধানে কাজ করছেন ফায়ার সার্ভিসের ডুবুরি দলের সদস্যরা।
ফায়ার সার্ভিসের ডিউটি অফিসার মাহমুদুল হাসান জানান, সকাল ৭টা থেকে দুপুর ১টা পর্যন্ত সদরঘাটের আহসান মঞ্জিলের দক্ষিণ পাশের নদী থেকে একে একে ভাসমান অবস্থায় শিশুসহ চারজনের মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার করা হয়।এ ঘটনায় এখনো একজন নিখোঁজ রয়েছে। তাকে উদ্ধারের চেষ্টা চালাচ্ছে ফায়ার সার্ভিসের ডুবুরি দল।
জানাযায়,বৃহস্পতিবার রাতে কামরাঙ্গীর চর থেকে শরিয়তপুর য্ওায়ার উদ্দেশে ছোট ডিঙি নৌকা যোগে তারা সদরঘাট টার্মিনালে আসছিল একই পরিবারের ৭ সদস্য। তাদের লঞ্চে করে সরিয়তপুরে এক বিয়ের অনুষ্ঠানে যাওয়ার কথা ছিল। কিন্তু তাদের আসা পুরন হলোনা। রাত আনুমানিকসাড়ে ১০টার দিকে তাদের বহনকারি নৌকার সাথে সুরভী-৭ লঞ্চের ধাক্কায় নৌকাটি ডুবেগেল নৌকায় থাকা সকল যাত্রীই নিখোজ থাকে। তাদের মধ্যে শাহজালাল নামের একজনকে তাৎক্ষনিক আহত অবস্থায় উদ্ধার করা হয়।এছাড়া বাকিরা নিখোজ থেকে যায়।
সদরঘাট নৌ-পুলিশের ওসি আ. রাজ্জাক জানান, নৌকা থেকে লঞ্চে উঠতে গিয়ে পিছন থেকে সুরভী-৭ লঞ্চের ধাক্কায় সাথে সাথে ছোট নৌকাটি পানিতে ডুবে যায়। নৌকায় থাকা একই পরিবারের ৭ জন নিখোজ হয়। তাদের মধ্যে শাহজালাল নামের একজনকে তাৎক্ষনিক আহত অবস্থায় উদ্ধার করা হয় এবং বাকিরা নিখোজ থেকেযায়। এ রিপোর্ট লেখা পর্যন্ত ৫ জনের লাশ উদ্ধার করা হলেও শাহিদা নামের এক নারী এখন পর্যন্ত নিখোজ রয়েছে। তার সন্ধানে নৌ-পািলশ, বিআইডবিøউটিএ এবং ফায়ার সার্ভিসের ডুবুরি দল অভিযান চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে। #
